Do you want to model for body painting?
Being a body painting model for a professional body painter is an experience you will never forget, and you'll have beautiful images to keep. When you model for Melissa Domogala, you will have the opportunity to work with one of the most talented fine art body painters in North America, as well as an artist passionate and committed to her art.
If you are interested in modeling for a body painting, you have two options.
Your first option: You have an idea you would like Melissa Domogala to create, and you commission the painting, meaning you hire the artist at an agreed rate plus the cost of prints. The second option: You model Melissa Domogala's own designs which she may or may not have available for limited print sale in her gallery in trade for one quality, signed and numbered print and 2-3 smaller .jpg images for posting online. It is extremely important that models invovled in Melissa's body paintings are interested in having an artistic experience and not about making money from it. Many of Melissa's models do not model professionally, so if you are passionate about doing this, but are worried about lack of experience apply anyway. Melissa Domogala is interested in working with different body types, as well as both men and women.
Modeling for a professional body painter may be a once life-time experience, and requires extensive planning, materials, experience, training, retouching, and preparation on my side. If you would like references, I have contact with almost all of my previous models and they would be happy to tell you honestly about their experience. A body painting can take me anywhere from 3-8 hours plus photography time, so it does require patience and the ability to sit or stand for periods of time. I do try my hardest to make it a comfortable and pleasant experience for my models at all times.
